Black Friday

As part of the post-Thankgiving event, we decided to head to the homesite to check on the progress rather than spend the day shopping on Black Friday.  We never really understood, let alone wanted to deal with, the mass hysteria with sales.  Sanity is priceless. 

As we turned onto Clay Circle Lane, we saw a mound of dirt in the distance.  

Could it be?  

We turned onto Autumn Tree Lane and got closer to the lot.   The boys were excited.  We were accompanied by Naseem's parents.  The weather was cooperative and we ventured out onto the lot.

The diggers had visited the site during the week and by the look of it, made a partial dig.  We walked around the lot to get a better look.  Exciting.  We could make out where the garage would be.  Taher and I walked to the backyard.  

"The extra garage will be here, that's the kitchen, and over there will be the family room."  Taher genuinely seemed excited.
