We were always planning on moving to a larger, permanent home, but were waiting for the kids to get a little older. The search for a new home began in the fall of 2012. Our school system redistricted our assigned elementary school, much to our disappointment. As a result, we decided to accelerate our plans.
One of the key features that we were looking for was space, both inside and outside. With growing children, we wanted them to have a decent backyard to run around in and a safe street for them to play on. Inside, we wanted to have the "open concept" and plenty of space for the family to grow up in.
Our search led us to different communities and different builders. We travelled all around the DC metropolitan area to look at various model homes, existing homes, new homes, new construction. We talked with friends and family to get opinions and ideas. After about four months of searching, we finally decided on a new construction with Trinity Homes.
I must add- Trinity was one of the first places we went...Murtaza fell in love...We went to other builders, house etc...But his heart was always at Trinity...And four months later Trinity it was.
