Fully enclosed

Since our last visit, we have had a lot of snow.  We made a quick visit before Winter Storm "Rex" hit.  We had gone at night and couldn't see much, but we did see that the roof framing was done and the roof panelling was on.

Good, at least the house was protected (sort of) from the weather.

Today was the first real visit in almost 2 weeks.  The roof was complete; shingles and all. The windows were installed , as was the front door.  The house was (nearly) fully enclosed.

Naseem and I ventured inside.

There was lumber everywhere.  In one corner there segments for the stairs.

As we walked into what would become the family room, temporary scaffolding had been erected to complete the ceiling detail.

We the walked into the formal sitting room.   Seemed more open than I expected.

Our front door was installed.  It was a nice fit.

The foyer was coming together.  We headed back towards the car. We ran into the foreman who was working on one of our neighbor's house.  He mentioned that either tomorrow or Monday, they would be pouring the concrete for the basement.  After that, the stairs would be going in.

Excellent! More exploring then. Stay tuned.
